February a2Drupal Meeting

Now that we are (temporarily) done with 50 below zero and 7 foot snow drifts, we have an a2Drupal meeting! As alluded to in January, our topic this month is the Media module.

One of the oldest problems in Drupal is how to manage a library of images and potentially videos, and how to do it both using image and file fields as well as inside rich text fields. The latest version of Media for Drupal 7 allows you to tag your files, use views to search, and provides tons of flexibility for managing and displaying your files. We will be stepping through how to set up and use the Media 7.x-2.x branch and cover some basic differences over the 1.x branch.
