Drupal Brisbane March Meetup
Location: Conference Room, Justice Place, 5 Abingdon St,, Woolloongabba QLD 4102
The Meetup begins at 7pm - with pizza and beer/softdrink on from 6.30pm.
So far for this month's program we have:
- David Peterson from Acquia, on 'Personalisation' (an adapted version of his DrupalSouth presentation making it a bit more 'hands-on').

The recent DrupalSouth conference held in Wellington NZ was a fantastic event. Quite a few Brisbanites made it across the ditch. Congratulations to all those who gave presentations, the quality of the presentations was outstanding.
For those that couldn't make it to NZ many of the presentations are available from the schedule https://drupalsouth2014.drupal.org.nz/schedule The keynotes were all excellent and at this meetup it would be good to hear recommendations of the best to watch.
We're also looking for volunteers to present on any chosen Drupal-relevant topic - for both this month and next month. So if you did present in Wellington and haven't presented that topic here, or have another topic you are willing to share, please let us know. Of course everyone is encouraged to present if they have a topic, or favourite module, theme, or site they would like present on - or even if they want to start and lead a discussion on a particular area or question.
Pizza and Beer, will be available before the meetup from 6.30pm. Please bring along some money to help cover the cost (or get your company to sponsor a meetup). Our Meetups are open to all, and new-comers are always welcome - whether you have lots of Drupal experience, or nothing more than a thirst to learn.
Also, please note that there are a few Drupal jobs and projects on offer in Brisbane at the moment, so if you are looking for Drupal work let co-convenor Tony Aslett know to pass on to you the relevant contact details. It looks like the demand for Drupal skills in Brisbane continues to be growing.
Given this growing demand we'd like to discuss and gage the interest in having a Drupal Day or Drupal Camp here in Brisbane - and thus to work out who is willing to be involved and in what capacity. The Brisbane Drupal Meetup regulars that Tony spoke to in Wellington were all very keen and motivated to do something.
