Enable access log

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Hi all,

It seems that "Enable access log" at /admin/config/system/statistics on the original URL or dev alias does not work ie I check the box but after hitting "save" the box is unchecked. Is that expected behaviour and if so is there any way round it?

Thanks...

It is disabled by design

It is disabled by design. BOA is a high performance stack. You would need to force-enable it in local.settings.php if you really need this? Note also that since there is Speed Booster on the front, these stats are useless anyway, because only some visitors hit Drupal directly on cache miss.

How to enable?

How do you force-enable these access logs in local.settings.php? I need this for IP Geolocation Views & Maps visitor locations.

It is old post but worth mentioning

edit your local.settings.php

add the following:

$conf['statistics_enable_access_log'] = 1;

that's it.

BOA
