Hi folks,
We've been discussing Sprint Weekends for quite a while now so I thought now I've got the @vbrighton space we can start putting some dates in the diary. I've set up two events for April, please sign up to your preferred one. Even if you only can pop in for a couple of hours it's all appreciated!
Also would be good to hear feedback on the idea of calling it "Community Open Weekends" so if anyone's interested in learning more about Drupal we can incorporate a session or two or other kind of activities - please post ideas!

Oops...
Heh, seems I didn't RTFM, just noticed this on the event add page:
"Only add actual events with established dates. Proposed events, discussions of event ideas, etc. belong in Discussions. Because content can't be moved between types, miscategorized content will be removed."
So, post your thoughts here on mid vs end of month because the events might get removed ;)
Middle of the month
I can't actually make either of the proposed dates, but in principle I'm in favour of a middle of the month option.
Weekends are tricky for me,
Weekends are tricky for me, would be good to drop in to the odd one, no pref either way re middle or end. (so not very helpful!)
Maybe have the word drupal in the event name just to avoid confusion, help seo etc?
Im unfortunately moving
So not long after I found you guys and Im moving to London. It really sucks. I hope to see you at London events. Any advice on friendly Drupal people there is welcome. Sorry Steve would have love to come and also work at the new space. :(
Drupal Groups in London
Hi Emina,
There's a good Drupal group that meets up once a month at Southbank University by Elephant and Castle called Drupal Show and Tell. They cover a wide range of Drupal topics and the meetings are well attended.
You can find their details on the meet up website: www.meetup.com/drupal-show-and-tell/

Drupal Coworking in London
Hi Emina,
There are also some good Drupal coworking groups in London. I've been to both of these and recommend them:
LGLC
Hi Emina,
To celebrate London Drupal Coworking's twelfth meetup we are back at the vibrant Google Campus, 3rd Floor.
Never been to Google Campus before? Then come and cowork with us, and register at the Campus (it's free) - and "... become a member of Europe’s most exciting tech startup hub."
Excellent WiFi, lot's of local cafe's and eateries - and just 10 min. walk from Liverpool Street Station.
You'll be made most welcome what ever your interest or experience of Drupal. Do come and join us.

Jealous!
At this rate I'll be moving to London!
But there's no beach, so I won't ;)
Makes me think we could be doing a 'show & tell' and drupal coworking down here too.
What? No beach!
... River Thames Bathing Beaches ... ;-)
Indeed - good idea and point
Indeed - good idea and point for discussion at next meet!
