#SprintWeekend

The Drupal Global Sprint Weekend is organized in January 30 and January 31, 2016 all around the world. See https://groups.drupal.org/node/488988 for details. I'm interested to join such an event in Luxembourg or nearby.

Hi folks,

We've been discussing Sprint Weekends for quite a while now so I thought now I've got the @vbrighton space we can start putting some dates in the diary. I've set up two events for April, please sign up to your preferred one. Even if you only can pop in for a couple of hours it's all appreciated!

Also would be good to hear feedback on the idea of calling it "Community Open Weekends" so if anyone's interested in learning more about Drupal we can incorporate a session or two or other kind of activities - please post ideas!

Would anyone want to get together to sprint on core next weekend? If so I can work on securing some space. I would be able to meet Saturday. Sunday I am headed to the community seed swap so would need to wrap up by noon.

I recently learned that there is an upcoming global Sprint Weekend (March 9, 2013 and March 10, 2013) with sprints taking place in at least 24 communities around the world. I assume the focus will be on Drupal 8.

At the Twin Cities Drupal User Group meeting last night we discussed the possibility of pulling together a group of local folks to get together and participate. First task is gauging the amount of interest and then determining the best time/day to gather (Sat or Sun).

Who would be interested in participating?

Is there any interest in holding a sprint session for core Drupal 8 in Scotland?

Everyone is welcome; if you have built a site in Drupal, you can contribute. We will split into pairs and work on Drupal core issues. Bring your laptop. If possible, install git before coming and git clone Drupal 8 core. For new folks: you can get a head start also by making an account on Drupal.org and taking a look at the Drupal Ladder
