- Waiting to see if Migrate in Core UI will be in core prior to DrupalCon Austin. Dries will decide. Webchick feels we should do this in order to get more testers. It is still up in the air as to whether migrate will be in 8.0 or later. It is possible that the UI will go into core for testing, but then be removed for release. Mike Ryan is willing to maintain the UI in contrib until it goes into core.
- DrupalCon Austin migration sprints: one for testing, one for general work. Bugs that testers find should be moved into tests as quickly as possible. We should define a process to dump the source data and move it into a test. Someone needs to organize the testing sprint.
- There is a suggestion in the community to support Drupal 6.x for a period of 12 months from the time of the D6->D8 migration release.
- There is still some discussion about how best to present the source site via the Migrate UI for users to indicate what they would like migrated.
- D7->D8 is on the back-burner for now, so that everyone can focus on D6->D8 in hopes that we can ship 8.x with D6->D8.
