Preview in D8
Don't know if I'll make it tonight, but this came into my email just now: https://drupal.org/node/1510544#comment-8869037
Its webchick's latest update in the ongoing saga of preview in D8. She appears to be basically saying that lack of substantially improved preview functionality is a D8 release-blocker.
I've been following that thread for a couple of years and it's amazing how much resistance there's been to the idea that there ought to be a solid, reasonably accurate preview. Frankly I'm glad to see Angie putting that stake in the ground.
What do you all think? What's your experience of how Drupal's preview mode affects client/customer perception? I was talking through a prospective Drupal migration (from Mura) with one of my managers the other day, and a "better" preview was a solid requirement. Better than Mura's, that is -- thing is, Mura's preview is rock solid. I'm going to have to do some significant work to get a Drupal preview that satisfies the local users.
