A while back I had to customize a entityform form. Try as I might, I just could not find a module to do what I needed. So, I had to take that dread plunge into the the dark work of php, Drupal hooks and functions, and arrays of deaths. Other than additional head trauma, I survived.

So, please come join us this Tuesday evening. I will gladly share what I learned. I will admit that it was a bit scary to start, but once you get the hang of it, it's really is not that bad.

We will get into some code, but mostly we will take about the process, how to utilize the devel module to see Drupal arrays, and how to get around an issue with an required entity reference field and the auto-complete widget type. Hint: (Why is data that is entered into an entity reference auto-complete fields not always save? And it if is not save, why does it pass the required field edit? All good questions.)
