As much as I believe in fixing accessibility problems at the source, we still need more contributors who have a better understanding in web accessibility.
This is a great crowd funding campaign organized by the great folks at http://knowbility.org
Accessibility training should be intensive, and this team has the experience of delivering great trainings through AccessU but can broaden their impact if it is able to be done online.
Consider contributing to their Indiegogo campaign.

Indiegogo
Great idea, and worthwhile campaign, but Indiegogo is quite screen reader inaccessible. Not a good start!
We know, we're sorry!
Hi Dave,
This is Sharron from Knowbility. We know about the miserable screen reader experience and have posted our apologies many times because we could NOT find a crowd funding resource that is at all accessible. One of our donors, Jim Thatcher actually made the point that it is just that fact - the inaccessibility of these popularly used sites - that makes this campaign so important. Let me add my personal apologies and ask your opinion of how to address that challenge. We are entirely open to suggestion and welcome your input. Thanks for your interest and advice.
We know, we're sorry!
Sharron, I can appreciate your frustration, as it is one of those chicken and egg situations. Social media is at the heart of exclusion, and it is this that has excluded many blind professionals from these efforts. "We know, we're sorry!" is something I hear a lot. However, Knowbility has done great work, and your efforts will make a difference. As an Accessibility IT Specialist, working with government and educational institutions in Ontario, I would be most interested in supporting the Knowbility effort. You can connect with me through my website www.davidbest.ca. Cheers!
Not good for sure
We used it to raise the funds to bring Vincenzo to DrupalCon Portland http://openconcept.ca/blog/mgifford/drupalcon-vincenzo
It's a real pain to administer with a screen reader. I reached out to them on twitter at that time. I can encourage more folks to do the same:

I do think if enough folks complain they will do something (or an alternative will arise which will take their place).
