Drupal 8?
Hey Everyone,
After our meeting last night I am wondering if we shouldn't do this in Drupal 8? That would give us all a little bit of experience with it, and maybe try and build a custom module or two?
Thoughts?

Was thinking about this on the way back from the meet up. I concur 100%
Also, I think we should set up a dev account on Pantheon to use. It is free. We can all be added as different levels of team contributors. Pantheon is using Git under the hood. Once we're ready to deploy, we can either suck it up and host there, or pull it on to another hosting box. Pantheon does a really great job of dev/staging/prod internal cloning and deployment etc as well. Using it for a couple of internal pieces and it is proving to be super solid.
I was not present for this initial discussion, and don't want to suggest something which would cause more unnecessary conversation if hosting has been solved.
On the Fence.
Although I feel as well that I would enjoy trying this in Drupal 8. Maybe the best approach would be would be to bang it out in 7 so it's done and then do a Drupal 8 Version. Or perhaps we can do parallel development. There is plenty to learn in both environments and most will be using 7 for many years to come.
