Discuss and listen to talks, on all things Drupal, with fellow users.
If you’d like to share anything on the night, about yourself, Drupal or anything web related that you feel will benefit others, please bring it along. If you have any Drupal or web related questions or are stuck on something, feel free to share it with fellow attendees and get some answers along the way.

I noticed you guys beat us in JHB in attendance at CT last month ;-)

July Meetup Talks
Hi Everyone.
This month's meetup is just around the corner and we have 2 informative talks by members of the Cape Town community. The first is "Mapping with #Drupal" by Duncan Moore. It will cover "How you get your Geodata stored in Drupal" and "How to then use and display your Data".
The second is Charles Tanton's - "Charting Excel Data in #Drupal7 using Highcharts".

Those look awesome - we use Highcharts extensively, they're really pretty and make clients very happy.
How does your August line-up look like? Any chance you could fit in a talk by myself on presentations and one by Lee on Drupal performance? We really enjoyed the company down in Cape Town and we're looking forward to a visit again.
It would also be great if we can maybe get some Capetonians to come deliver their talks here in Johannesburg, especially with such interesting topical matter. Some of us travel on our own dime and some manage to get their companies to sponsor them the ticket in the name of growing their Drupal talent. We can ask for places top stay here from people if a hotel is too expensive.

Btw, I'd like to book a flight for the August meet-up to Cape Town, but I'm not sure if you have it planned for the 20th or the 27th of August. Do you have the date set yet?
One of the first meet-up's attendees also mentioned I should stay over at his place. Let me know if that's still available (the place really sounded incredible), else I'll just book a spot at the VA CityLodge again later this week.
