Meeting tonight 6:00 PM at the Alachua County Library in Meeting Room B (to the right as you come in) to discuss upcoming meeting agendas and ideas for group events. We are lookng for ideas to help the group grow and benefit all of the members, from the enthusiatic beginner to the seasoned developer. Come and let us know what you would like to see the group do.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, please let us know your ideas in this discussion thread.
As always, any Drupal questions are welcome and there will be a get-together immediately following the meeting. Hope to see you there!

Beginner Series
I think we should have a few beginner series sessions planned in advanced.
First one would be: Setting up your development environment and first drupal site
The basics of drupal, what are some important modules to have for a more productive experience. It all depends on what the community needs/wants if this is too basic?

Some beginner sessions is a great idea. The basics is where we all start and for those just starting in Drupal learning how to set up your first site should be useful I would think.
Free drupal help
Just in case it wasn't obvious, it's also a chance to get free drupal help/practice/etc, or we can actually offer it that way for novices.
