Should the block module be enabled for Panopoly based sites?

Panopoly is trying to determine if the block module should be enabled by default. It's currently not used which limits some core functionality (e.g. displaying messages in the help region).

We'd like to see how folks are using Panopoly and whether or not they enable the block module on sites they run? Or if anyone would be adamantly opposed to it?

Thanks everyone who responded to this poll! It was super helpful. We ended up enabling the Block module so that we could get the Help block in the same way that the 'standard' profile does it, which unblocks a number of other issues.
