Non space content and Color Scheme

When I first created the OA2 site I'm working on, I chose a color scheme before having added a single space. Now that I have added many spaces, I started to play with color schemes for the different spaces. I have run into two, most likely related issues.

First, the home page uses the original color scheme, and I cannot change it, at least not without deleting all spaces first. No matter how I navigate to appearance, when I change the color scheme it will only change the most recently visited space's color scheme.

The second is for added content that has no home in a space, we want pages that are for the general public and have no place in a space. I want to use the main menu, not have them show up in the OA menu for spaces. The color scheme inherits from the most recently visited space. I don't want this content in a space, and I don't want it to inherit a color scheme. I think there should be a way to set a color scheme for anything not in a space, a site default. This to me seems logical, but my logic has failed. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Sean

The issue with the home page

The issue with the home page is for whatever page is set as the home page at /admin/config/system/site-information, whether it is a panel or node. I can create new content, set as home page, and it inherits the original color scheme with absolutely no way of altering it.

I discovered how to deal with

I discovered how to deal with this, clear cookies. It would be nice if it were easier to clear just the context cookie that OA2 is setting.
