Sept. CIDUG Meeting 9-11-2014: Moving Content into Drupal with Migrate Module

Are your copy and paste muscles getting fatigued? Do you have data sitting in a MySQL table or CSV file but want it in Drupal fields? Are you frightened when the Migrate module documentation intones, "if you do not have object-oriented programming skills in PHP, this module is not for you?"

Nonsense!

With a few deft keystrokes you will be migrating content with ease, thanks to the help of the Migrate UI module contained in the latest migrate-7.x-2.6-rc1 goodness.

We'll cover the big assumptions the migrate module makes and how to do a basic migration. And if it really is too much for you, remember: after the meeting we will be migrating to Brick City Grill.
