Given that we have new location, I thought it would be great to match that with new code. Let's see how many instances of Drupal 7 we can install. Then take some time to investigate what's coming down the pipe. Drupal 7 install fest!

safety first, training second
I'm fine with postponing our meeting, but I don't want to miss the chance to encourage DrupalCorn members to attend the Free Drupal Training workshop that Michael and I are putting together. I know February 6 is coming right up, and I didn't want to wait until next week to promote the event.
So far we have 13 people signed up, many of whom are beginners. We have planned an interactive workshop that will include walking participants through installing MAMP/WAMP, Drupal core, and some additional modules, then helping them build a basic Drupal website.
We hope that DrupalCorn members will attend not only to help the workshop participants, but also to take advantage of the opportunity to see how novice users approach, understand, and implement the core concepts of websites in general and Drupal in particular.

Enough Weather Already
Sorry folks, I don't think I will make it tonight after all. US 30 isn't looking too good over here and if the wind keeps howling I can't imagine it will be any fun out there tonight. Looking forward to seeing some of your D7 creations soon though. Have a good one.
