Regular meetup at the Llandoger for beers and Drupal/tech discussions.
After some Twitter and previous discussion there appears to be appetite for some type of Drupal Camp for Bristol and the SouthWest.
Hoping we can get enough interested parties on the night to start investigating.

I've already started looking into a few things so will share that with you on the night.
Got info from DA and the fiscal sponsorship agreement from to return (+ some information on that), and I've started preparing a forecast spreadsheet too.
I've also been in touch with Bristol Uni and AtBristol for initial venue choice. Bristol Uni have offered Will Hall (just off the top of the Downs) and AtBristol looks very expensive and unsuitable for breakout style rooms... It would be better suited for a larger sponsor exhibit hall.
Would be good to hear if anybody else has any other venue recommendations, who our potential sponsors would be, and how people would be prepared to get involved. I think one of the hardest initial challenges would be to get a good keynote speaker involved.
FYI: We thought a Friday Business day and a Saturday conference day would be the best bet. not sure how many people would come for both though if they are aimed at different audiences?
Frontend United
We're having Frontend United in Bristol this year, it's 18-19 April at Hamilton house. I'll try and make an effort to come along to this, we could pull resources/advertise for each other and well... let's figure that out at the meeting!

When I heard about Frontend United I was very keen to try and collaborate. We'll obviously have to make sure the DC Bristol date is far from FEU otherwise people will only pick one!

Yeah it's in April, I think we are actually pretty sorted with it this year. Our biggest fallback every year is getting the information out early enough (Morten has too many ideas in the team meetings!) So we think we've cracked it this year!
