The module page_lang which I have build for this Spanish school in spain is an attempt to adapt pages to searches from concrete countries. The proyect en drupal site is http://drupal.org/project/page_lang
The problem with this school is that is a very small. The competition for some keywords is impossible. There are keywords a lot search from Austria and another keywords from Germany. I would like to optimize this pages for this countries. This module make this optimization.
You think this module is helpful for change the concept the of SEO world?

Well, Drupal already includes a feature to put the language codes into those places, but maybe not many (core) themes support it well. Look into how the Garland theme does it. What else needs to be done in a contributed module? The build in feature takes care of changing the language code if you present a different language version of the page.

It's true. It's necessary to have the variable $language in the template, in the page.tpl.php.
the normal for change this variable is change your preferences or change of user. But i want change this variable in edit node.
My problem consisted of which the school is very small and is difficult to compete with great chains of schools. I decided to bet by words that looked for from countries in particular. Germany is losing interest by the Spanish and is growing the interest in Austria. Then I need to change the location adapting it to Austria.
Also there are hotels that need to be found from Spain and they do not look for to be found from Latin America.
What I looked for I was to complete the location by countries, putting es-es or putting de-at.
There are modules that can make location of the page like i18n, but have a greater function, also it's a big module. The module i18n I do not need, single I want to change it these variables of xhtml.
The module i18n does not allow to change the page to optimize searches of Austria.
In world SEO there is not much people who use east type of optimization and not because it is not used. There are hotels or restaurants that can be optimized for Canada and are not used. if you want one more a more international page you can make other more international. Any idea?
