The great BOF was great. i would like to see if we can start scrumming the social initiative.
I think we need to think on: When/What/Where.
When: A nice date that a lot of people could join in. We spread in a lot of places. I for instance in Israel so Friday, Saturday during 10:00 am(we have something like UTC+2, depend when we switch to daylight saving time clock).
What: We have couple of things. Which modules we need to write by our self, to which core(7 or 8). Do we need to supply example modules? A good example can be how we pull tweets and Facebook statuses via feed. Are we going to create a twitter account and tweet about our activity? Are we going to give sessions in the next DrupalCons except for BOFs?
Where: I think Google hangout are great tool. The Drupal association does that with his meetings, i did two webinars to my local community.

I'm up for devdays - just booked my tickets & flights yesterday, will be there Thu April 9th - Sun 19th.
As every year, my interest is in decentralising everything - bringing the web back to what it was built for!
Haven't decided on a place to stay yet, depends whether I bring my Brompton or not, not taken it abroad before but heard there's lots of cycle paths there.

DrupalCon always looks "a bit far off". But every year we miss the mark by a long shot because we didn't get our act together. Shall we do it different this year? ;-)
How about a Hangout every Wednesday at 15:15 UTC? It's a nice time for global participation.
Can you guys make that time? Perhaps people don't have to be there every week and we can keep them short. But it's good to have regular checkins.
I'll set them up starting next week. So first one is the 25th February.
