The Drupal Association board and staff have identified India as the next possible place to host a DrupalCon outside of North America/Europe. The target date is February 2016.

To determine if we can host a DrupalCon in India, we need to determine the top cities and then conduct a financial feasibility study and then share our research with the community and ask them for input on which city they would travel to attend. After we know the city and if it is financially feasible to host a DrupalCon there, Drupal Association staff will conduct a site visit to lock down a venue, date, and other vendors needed to produce the event (e.g. event planner, AV, Internet, catering, etc).

Now community leaders are conducting the financial feasibility study for Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Goa, and Hyderabad. The following spreadsheet has a tab for each city and you can see at the top who is the point person for each city. They are working with others to gather costs for the various items listed in the spreadsheet. If you want to contribute your thoughts and help with research for any city, please contact the point person. In November, we will post a blog with key data from each of the top cities and ask the India community to comment on the options, letting us know which one they are most likely to attend. And, we will ask for feedback on other items like price point.
In january 2015, Drupal Association Staff (Megan Sanicki, Associate Director) will travel to India to conduct a site visit.

I did some study and took support of service provider in this area for getting the cost for Bangalore for conducting the event. All the event, booking, arrangement will be managed. They can also provide ticket booking air, train and bus. Arrange cab service as per requirement etc. I felt this is a good quote and will free volunteers to focus on the main work of running trhe conference.
