Hi PNW Drupal folks --
Forum One is conducting a training event for the November 14 Drupal Training Day. The event is aimed at developers and designers who are new to Drupal, as well as project managers and technology decision makers who want to understand how Drupal works.
We'll be using a variation of the Build A Module mentored training approach. We'll intersperse group discussions and Forum One case studies with sessions where participants will watch BAM videos and have one-to-one review time with instructors. This format will allow participants to learn at their own pace, and benefit from individual attention as well as group discussion.
Outcomes of the training will include an understanding of Drupal core concepts and jargon, the basics of information architecture and data modeling in Drupal, crucial building block modules, and theming concepts and CSS starting points.
The event will be 9am to 5pm on 11/14, and include coffee and lunch.
If you or someone you know would like to participate, please sign up on Eventbrite!
