User group meeting
Join us on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, 6:30pm at Ryan's Village Pizza in Cocoa Village for our monthly meetup.
At this month's meetup, Robert Canger (new-tone) will be giving a demo of the Picture module, including its dependencies and how to configure it to provide different image file depending on the screen size of the user.
In December, Steven Williams will be giving a presentation on the Entityform module, a powerful alternative to Webform. Steven will demo how to create an advanced "contact us" page.
WiFi at Ryan's is marginal at best, so be warned!
We'll also be talking about future meetup topics, Drupal 8 Migrate in Core, and planning for Florida DrupalCamp 2015.
Thanks,
-mike

future topic?
Check out this blog post about specifying a Drupal site in a spreadsheet and having the site generated for you.
Who wants to volunteer to demo this at a future meetup?!

I've been looking into it for
I've been looking into it for the last week. I don't think I'm close to ready to make a presentation, however.
Jay might want to look into this to enhance the PCDM.
Interesting
Ooh interesting. I may play around with this.
I'll give a brief talk about
I'll give a brief talk about using the habitat module and server environments.
Wow.. who knew! I do that on
Wow.. who knew! I do that on every site I build so it sounds like I am close to the finish line minus a module or two. I'm going to have a close look at this.
The template
Here is a link to the template. hmm - looks familiar.

As I see the template, there is one huge limitations. All fields have to be text fields. There does not appear to be a way to specify a field type or widget in the template, nor can you specify if it is required or not.
The specification is still
The specification is still being created, Dennis, I'm sure they would welcome the input.
corrected that for you..

Where do you go to comment? I put comments on the original article above, but I have a feeling this is not the best place to comment.
This is a great time saver. Setting up a spread sheet for all possible values is a very tough project.

November meetup date change
Hey everybody,
Due to a scheduling conflict, we have to move this meetup to Tuesday, November 18.
Bob - please confirm that you can still make it to present.

Picture module!
Unfortunately, I won't be able to make tomorrow night's Brevard meetup, but Dennis will be bringing the projector and screen.
I'm bummed I'm going to miss out on Bob's Picture module demo.
We don't have a December date picked yet, so it would be good if we set that date during the meetup as well.
Have a great time!
Thanks,
-mike
Hey guys, I had a fantastic
Hey guys, I had a fantastic time at BADCamp and learned something new about singularitygs grids! I would love to demonstrate it and what it does. It won't be a real presentation with slideshows but everyone will easily understand the concept.
Also, we should do a "Bring your problem" as it's been a while :D
