Only two days remain till the first New England Drupal camp! Interested in attending? Change of plans? There are STILL TICKETS available!$20 for a full day of sessions, food, networking, learning, and listening to Jeff Robbins CEO and Founder of Lullabot talk about lessons learned from his previous experience in a successful rock & roll band. Not something you get to hear everyday.
PARKING
For those that have signed up (and for those still thinking about it), parking can be a challenge on Providence's East Side, but there are options:
- bring quarters as there are plenty of metered spots right outside the venue on Waterman Street and Angell Street. But they are 2 hr. max.
- Some of the meters on Angell Street (near Brown Street) take credit cards. Still a 2 hr. limit but a lot easier than having a heft of quarters in your pocket
- There are garages downtown (by train station, by Providence Place Mall) but it'd be about a 20 min walk UPHILL - and its a steep hill. You could also take a cab; Uber & Lyft are both available in Providence
- NON-METERED ALL DAY STREET PARKING:Lloyd Avenue near Moses Brown School has ALL DAY parking and since you all are getting there early Sat. morning, there should be PLENTY of options. It's just a 12 minute walk to our venue so this is the BEST OPTION
JUST REMEMBER AN UMBRELLA!
I will continue to tweet parking updates as I find them through @NEWDcamp
See you Saturday!
