Some of you might be in the know that there has been a discussion going on for a possibility of Drupalcon in India, there are three cities in consideration -- Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. Megan from DA has just posted a blog post requesting feedback on city thats comfortable for you and has the best potential of attracting more Drupalers. There are lot of parameters listed in Megan's blog post, so please review and give your feedback as a comment on the blog post. Do give your reasoning and feedback.
I'm sure some of you must be thinking why not Pune in the list and simple answer is logistics, Pune was under consideration initially but due to lack of infrastructure the local community leaders agreed that its not in the best interest of Drupalcon; specifically Pune doesn't have an international airport, is limited on venue options for that scale etc. Pune has a vibrant Drupal community and will help with volunteering and other non-logistic tasks, the first step is help DA choose a location, so go read the blog post and help DA pick a city.
