This is just a reminder that this month (December) there will be no Drupal Frontend meetup. I will be out of town on the 18th and a quick poll at the last FEDUG showed near unanimous support for just skipping the month and picking back up in January.
That being said, January will be an exciting month! Dan Muzyka and Courtney Koppenhaver have prepared a talk about theming in Drupal 8 with Twig!
The presentation will guide you through the creation of a Drupal 8 theme for a blog site. Dan and Courtney will focus on the creation of Twig templates, and will showcase what is possible to do using Twig. Topics will include overriding default Twig templates, using control structures and loops in Twig, template inheritance, Twig filters, and exposing functions to Twig.
