Hi everyone,
Hopefully people can come for the January Meetup on the 28th.
We'll be meeting at the Downtown Madison Library (201 W Mifflin St, Madison, WI 53703) in room 104 (conference room on the first level). We'll start at 12:15 and end by 2pm.
Topic Ideas
- Favorite Module Show/Tell - (Dan Stout mentioned this and he has a new sweet module). Please bring your favorite modules that you have been using.
- Drupal Camp WI - Any volunteers in helping plan Drupal Camp WI 2015?
- Backdrop Discussion - Backdrop - https://backdropcms.org/ - is a fork of Drupal and the 1.0.0 is being released January 15th. We can have a discussion about it.
- Others?

Beware Backdrop misinformation
Darn, I'll be in New Jersey for https://groups.drupal.org/node/453848. Because I have plenty of caveats about Backdrop... the tldr being "You're not really going to get anything that D7 + contrib can't already give you" and various "that thing you read is not actually true". :)

Haven't been to a Madison Drupal meetup yet, but I will be coming with a small group of 3 or 4. Looking forward to meeting some other Drupal developers in the Madison area and learning what others are doing with drupal!
