Hi,
I am constructing a bilingual OA site (English and French). When I enabled 'with field translation' for the task, I found all allowed values of fields:
-field_oa_worktracker_priority
-field_oa_worktracker_task_type
-field_oa_worktracker_task_status translations
were rolled back to the initial settings of the allowed values of those fields and I do not think the callback function is working.
For instance, I changed the allowed values of field priority to:
3|Low
4|Normal
5|High
6|Urgent
7|Immediate
However, when I open task edit form, I got:
2|Low
5|Normal
8|High
I am wondering any persons have encounter similar issues and have solutions for it?
Thanks,
peijun zhang

Hi peijun, I'm getting a
Hi peijun,
I'm getting a similar problem, you can see my post here; https://groups.drupal.org/node/453478
The erroneous behaviour seems the same with field values not populating correctly, although different steps to reproduce. I'm afraid I've been unable to find a solution, so if you come across anything, please do share.
Baps.
The issue is solved, partially...
I have solved the issue somehow, though the 'real bug' remains to be identified.
The field allowed value callback functions are supposed to take over the allowed value lists (if ever defined). It is true with the English installation. However, when I enabled multilingual modules, this is not true anymore. It seems to me that the callback function is not working.
My solution is deleting the predefined allowed value lists from the task content type and then the callback function works.
To delete the predefined allowed value lists of the fields mentioned above, you have to delete all task nodes. You can delete them either with content type admin form (install cck module >> delete the callback function >> save >> delete the allowed value list >> set the callback function >> save) or with field api functions field_info_field and field_update_field.
I still have lots of other issues with my bilingual OA site. I wonder any body has been successfully set up a multilingual OA site. I would like to ask for helps on other issues.

I use OG variables
It's not strickly a translation. I previously consider all the members of the same space are going to use the same language or that the group have a language assigned. So I go to OG variables configuration (work tracking settings) and check the corresponding I want to translate . Then in the space (configuration\variables\work tracking settings) I change the values to the language I want. And I save as a template. When I want a space with this language I clone the space
