Hello everyone! My name is Roger ... (why does this feel like an AA intro? ) .... and I've sporadically used Drupal over the course of 5ive years or so to assist a non-profit organization I belong to, as well as other side-interests not primary to my day-to-day job. By day I'm a database developer for a Fortune 500 company (not as glorious as it reads here), and I'm one of those people whose experiences are a mile wide and a foot deep. I have a theoretical understanding of programming and databases that far exceeds my coding skills, but I'm looking to change that a bit using Drupal. I'm currently involved with some friends and we're using Drupal to create the next great computing experience (isn't everyone?) and I've found myself deep in developing custom modules in support of it.
I've got OK chops in a number of areas, which I think comes with nearly 30 years of computing, and I don't take myself too serious. I'm excited to find a Phoenix, and look forward to sharing ideas and experiences. Thanks everyone in advance! - Roger/Tempe, AZ
