Need website help

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Hi, I am very new to Drupal. I recently had my site built in Drupal 7. I have a block set up so everytime I post to FaceBook it shows up automatically in that block.
I'm wondering if there is something that I can add to the Blog page so each time I post a blog it will automatically show up on my FaceBook page? Any help would be appreciated.

Good question

Have you tried adding any modules for that functionality? I've never used them before, but a quick search turns up Facebook Autopost (https://www.drupal.org/project/fb_autopost) and Facebook Post (https://www.drupal.org/project/fb_post).

Perhaps someone else in the group has used one of these or a better solution?

We are using Facebook

We are using Facebook Autopost (https://www.drupal.org/project/fb_autopost) and it works like a charm. Once installed and configured (you need to create a facebook app), you can specify which content will be publish on Facebook via Rules, by creating a Facebook publication object (actions: "create a new entity", "set a data value" and "publish to a Facebook page").

Another possibility

is to read the RSS feed from your site with the Networked Blogs app on Facebook -- https://www.facebook.com/networkedblogs/info?tab=page_info

I'm not necessarily recommending this over doing it all in Drupal -- it's just another choice.

My personal preference is to

My personal preference is to use Zapier to route posts from my RSS feeds to Facebook et al. It's just one less thing to maintain.

Great idea!!

What a great idea Brian. I'd never thought of doing it that way, but it's so simple. You can also accomplish this with ifttt.com (if this then that) for free.
