Let's get together and do some more review for the Acquia Certified Front End Specialist Certification exam.

Gregg and Patrick have passed the exam and will be there to answer questions and help.

Let's see if we can get some more of our group through the exam while the study effort last month and this is still fresh in your mind.

I didn't realize the date, and I don't think I'll be able to make this meeting.

If you haven't taken the exam yet but have attended study groups I still highly recommend going for it. The notes we had taken cover a very large portion of the test.

As we discussed a bit at the last study group, the exam can feel a little heavy on actual code. I offer the following (hastily googled) links to help plug in any knowledge gaps. Even if you're a seasoned coder it might be good to have a quick review.

30 CSS selectors to memorize. This is a lot easier than you might think. You don't want to be in a situation where you're not sure if you're looking at valid selectors or not

Here's a brief overview of when javascript passes by reference vs value, you may want to brush up on .bind() as well for understanding scope

Another brief javascript article on scope that covers the usage of .prototype() as well.

You may want to do a quick perusing over the different PHP array related functions as well, just to see what is there and is available.

Thanks everyone. Stay warm.

Hey, that's a great

Hey, that's a great reference. Thanks for sharing the details, we really appreciate that.

There is a blog from Chris from buildamodule.com, he gave very good references for the generic Acquia certification, which will definitely helpful even for a front-end cart.

Won't be able to attend the meetup tonight

I was planning on coming tonight but things are a little crazy at work and I have to work late. I wont be able to make it tonight unfortunately. We've been waiting on some approvals for new site enhancements and its been taking longer than expected today (changes, testing, review feedback, edits, repeat...), so ill be monitoring my email and waiting for the green light to push code. I will definitely be at the next meeting if there is going to be one planned for another study group.

Are we meeting up today?
