Talk night at PHPSW?

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

I was thinking the other day that it's been a while since the last Drupal Bristol talk night (July!?), and it would be good to do another one before DrupalCamp Bristol in July. This would give speakers a chance to have a trial run if they feel that they need to do so before the event.

I've been speaking with our friends at PHPSW, who are doing a WordPress night next week about doing something similar, and suggested maybe we do so in June? What are people's thoughts on this?

Chris Hall and I have been to a few PHPSW meetups since we moved our date to allow for this, and I think that it's a great idea to promote both Drupal and the Camp to the wider local PHP community.

PHPSW meetups are usually on the second Wednesday of each month so it wouldn't conflict with our standard social nights (or the Committee meetings), but we'd probably need somewhere to host it if anyone potentially has the space?

Good Idea

Be good to have a talk night before the Camp. The last talk can't really be as long ago as last July was it?

https://speakerdeck.com/opdavies/drush-make-drupalbristol is the last talk that I did, dated July 2014.

Unless, of course, I missed one (or several). :)

Sounds good to me, I expect

Sounds good to me, I expect Sift Towers will be happy to host unless anyone fancies a change of scenery?
