Hi Everyone!
One of my responsibilities as a board member of the Drupal Association, is to personally engage in fundraising to support the work of the Association. This is the first time we've run a board campaign like this, and the focus is on getting Drupal8 finished!
There's a whole ecosystem of individuals and organisations, both large and small, that depend on Drupal to communicate with their stakeholders, sell their products, or simply make a living. The time has come to power through those remaining release blockers, and apply some elbow grease to polish off the next release. That's the motivation behind the #D8Accelerate program.
I've done a venn diagram (can you tell I love venn diagrams?) to help show how the money's being raised. We're over half way towards our goal now because the Drupal Association seeded the fund with $62,500. Anchor Donors (including PreviousNext - thanks guys!) have added another $62,500 which brings us to $125k - and we're hoping our huge global community will chip in to help us reach $250k!
That's where you come in! I'm aiming to raise US$10,500 as my share - can you please chip in via my crowdraise page and help me get there?
