Now that some of the deemed universities have completed their semester exams I thought it would be a ideal if we could kick-start the Campus Outreach Programme.
To start with I am currently talking to some students in the following colleges to gauge their interest in being Brand Ambassadors.
1. Hindustan College of Engineering
2. SRM
To increase our coverage I would appreciate if any or all of you join me in this endeavour. I am specifically looking at anyone supplementing my efforts in the following areas
1. Identify Open Source evangelists in Chennai Colleges
2. Invite them over on a weekend and give them a brief of Drupal.
3. Create a directory
4. Invite them and their Professors for a monthly meetup.
My aim is to get atleast 10 ambassadors by 30th June 2015. That is about 5 a month.
Just wondering how do we designate these boys / girls as a Drupal Campus Ambassador ? Give them a badge? Sticker? Put their name on the chapter website.?
