A few people have asked me for ideas on what they should talk about - and I have 2 pieces of advice.
The topic doesn't matter as much as 2 other factors.
- Something you are passionate about. That passion will inform every step of the journey. From quickly writing a title and talk description, to standing up and sharing what you know with an audience.
and
- You don't have to be the world's top expert to share your passion. Doing a presentation on a topic is one of the best ways to learn more about it, you can give yourself the time to dive deeper into the material, to ask others what they think and know.
