Indie Web Camp Brighton is happening on the weekend of July 11th and 12th. This is a free event for:
- people who already have own website and want to make it better
- people who don't yet have their own website but want one
This is not a Drupal-specific event, so websites can be built with any technology people prefer. Obviously, Drupal is one of the possible options (and a pretty good one :) ).
The first day is dedicated to bar-camp style talks and discussions. The second day is a full day sprint, during which you can work on your personal website, or on implementing formats and tools available to other people as well, e.g. Drupal implementations.
This is not a developer-focused event. People of any experience level and expertise are welcome. Designers, UX-ers, project managers should come! The only thing you need to have is a desire to have a place on the web to call your own.
