Hi Everyone!
We're going to be hosting a Panopoly sprint at NYCCamp Thursday, July 16th and Friday, July 17th.
A "sprint" is an event where a group of people get together to work on something for a few hours. Sprints aren't limited to technical people or coders - at our sprint there will be tasks for people with any skillset allowing everyone to contribute equally.

If you're going to be in New York for NYCCamp, I really hope you'll join us on Thursday and Friday!
The sprint will last all day from 9am to 6pm, but you're free to come and go as you please. It will be at the United Nations - where the NYCCamp sessions will be too.
Of course, there will also be the opportunity to sprint on Drupal 8 core and a number of other contrib projects will also be having sprints!

On the sprint page, it lists the dates 'Tue. Jun. 16/15, 9:00 AM to Fri. Jul. 17/15, 5:00 PM'. Is this true, or is it still scheduled for just Thursday and Friday?

It's just Thursday, July 16th and Friday, July 17th!
So, very confusingly, that date range ("June 16th to July 17th") isn't when the event is happening, but when registration for the event is open.
The only way I know this is when I edit the node on the NYCCamp site, I see those dates under the bit where it says when registration is open.
However, the sprint is just Thursday, July 16th and Friday, July 17th!

Heh, ok, so someone else brought this up and I took another look at the event edit page, and the dates were setup wrong. Sorry, I didn't figure this out the first time through! But it should be fixed now. :-)

If you're having trouble finding the sprint room...
... we're in "Conference Room F" which is outside of the last set of doors you have to go through where you show someone your security badge. If you start seeing several screens by rooms that talk about "DM/OICT: NYCCamp 2015" you've probably gone too far, and need to go back out the doors at the last security point, because this is the first NYCCamp room you'll pass on your way in. It's right outside those security doors.

This time we're in "Conference Room 12" which is the first room through the last set of doors where you have to show someone your badge. So, rather than being just before the doors, it's just after the doors.
Again, if you get totally lost, you can call or text me! Texting actually might be better because yesterday I got some calls but didn't hear them because of the noise in the room, and when I saw them it was much later.
