We’re looking for Drupal Developers to join a growing and dynamic organisation. The IT department operates at the centre of the organisation to provide dedicated IT support to 10 offices across the UK. The team is expected to grow over the next twelve months and we’re looking for individuals with the technical capabilities to support during this exciting time.
You’ll work closely with the Senior Project Manager to lead on all web-centric development specifically on the Linux Apache MySQL PHP stack and ensure Teach First has first-class frameworks in place to support all of our activities.
You will take full ownership of the Drupal platform and work with other members of the IT Solutions team to recommend future developments and solutions on the platform.
Technical Competencies -
* Strong experience working with Drupal
* A history of contributing to Drupal and other open source technologies
* Experience using HTML, CSS, MYSQL, PHP, JAVASCRIPT, SVN and GIT
* Strong understanding of Drupal 7 and available modules
* Server experience/ knowledge of Linux and database configuration
* Good knowledge of scripting and command line
* Experience/Knowledge advantageous integrating Drupal with API’s such as SalesForce, Facebook and Twitter
Key Accountabilities –
* Developing digital applications both front and back end
* Ensuring sites run smoothly and robust recovery systems are in place
* Managing code version control
* Optimising systems and codes for performance
* Integrating different digital applications
* Ensuring UX is kept at the forefront of development decisions
* Working with the digital and CRM team to plan digital strategies
* Maintaining an active profile in the Drupal community and contributing code back
This is an excellent opportunity which will allow the successful candidate to work with integrations between Salesforce.com and Drupal.
