• More than 10 years of overall experience in website development, production and maintenance, and public-facing web development
• More than 8 years of experience as a Drupal developer, with in-depth experience in custom module development and custom theme development as well as with designing and building complex and scalable web-based graphical user interfaces (GUIs) using HTML-, JavaScript-, and CSS-calling back end web services
• More than 5 years of programming experience using Agile development methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, communications, technology, or a related field
• Demonstrated ability to configure Drupal and create custom Drupal modules using the core API
• Demonstrated ability to use common Drupal modules such as CTools, Views, and Panels, extending them through code
• Experience integrating multiple databases and/or database types into one system
• Experience securing data or access to applications with multiple user levels, OR the ability to customize based on user levels
• Experience implementing, managing, or using a backup system and disaster recovery
• Experience with data migrations (or at least a good idea of how data migrations can be done in Drupal)
• Knowledge about accessibility or security compliance
• Proficiency in Drupal site development within LAMP stack including: custom module development (contributed and core modules, views, and panels), MySQL, maintenance and administration of modules and sites, site architecture and building blocks, including content types, fields entities, taxonomy, and menu system, Drupal hooks and APIs, and Drupal development technologies such as Drush, Features, and Views
• Proficiency in a range of web development technologies, including PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX
• Experience with web graphical, browser, and cross-platform issues
• Experience creating sites with responsive design
• Experience using a version control system
• Experience with bug tracking tools
• Experience with UNIX/Linux administration
• Experience integrating open source and third-party applications into existing systems
• Experience with the JIRA bug tracking tool, Confluence, Stash, and Bamboo
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Acquia Drupal Site Builder certification is a plus
