Drupal 8 is getting closer to launch by the day. Even though we don't have a final release date as yet, we wanted to inform you all that DASA will be organising Drupal 8 launch parties in both Johannesburg (Cobblestones in Montecasino) and Cape Town (Venue to be determined). We may hold parties in other areas depending on interest.
We also have a limited run of Drupal 8 stickers that will be handed out at each event and are on a first come first serve basis.
Keep an eye on https://drupalreleasedate.com/ to give you an idea as to progress and potential release date.
We are all extremely excited for this release and hope to celebrate this release with all of you.

Really need this Break
Breakneck growth and a tremendous amount of work from so many people in the community this year - we are seriously in need of a nice event like this to led our hair down a bit... no idea where that expression comes from, what's hair?
