Getting ready to start your Drupal 8 site? How do you start theming it? Should you use SASS? How does Drupal's new theming system integrate with a framework? Are you thinking about using media queries to load responsive content?
In this session, Scott Lozier will show you how to start you Drupal 8 site using the Zurb Foundation theme. We'll look at setting up a sub-theme in Drupal 8 and then dive into Foundation's grid system, utilities and media queries to dynamically load responsive content. Scott will also talk about how using a framework and Sass make it easier for your team to work more rapidly.

About The Speaker, Scott Lozier
Scott teaches programming to 3rd - 5th graders for fun. He is currently the Web Development Manager for Integrated Computer Solutions with a web team distributed across the world. He has been managing teams working in Drupal for six years and web many years longer. He has built systems for large Drupal infrastructures at Harvard University and Bentley University. Most importantly he’s a Dad, has an amazing wife, a grumpy cat and loves to ride his bike.
