I have participated in the event that Dries visit in Tianjin 2014-9. If remember correctly, we have total of 10-20 people plus Dries in this event. Here we need to thank about the sponsorship of INsReady and CINT. Although for some reason we changed the venue, still very happy day in retrospect. We drank a lot of beer and had the opportunity to closely contact and chat with the author of Drupal in the domestic. But as g089h515r806 said, the event's information, including Dries trip to china, not many people care as we expected(One important factor is that is a Wednesday, most people are ask for a vacation to attend this event. this is not an easy thing for most of people). So that the scale of activity is small, time is short. No wonder there is such thoughts of Dries.

I expressed my thought of the current domestic Drupal community：1, Now even Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Shenzhen and other cities where the developers do not communicate frequently, without a centralized, regular activities. 2, We can't find a big Chinese Drupal company which can be recognized to stimulate the industry. 3, Foreign Drupal communities's attention on China's market is still not high enough. They have a lot of good ideas and experience worth learning.

So I think events like this is necessary for us to improve our Drupal community. I will actively encourage my friends to participate. I think this will be a good chance to let more inter Drupal developers to know about Chinese and Chinese Drupal community. Since now we just invited few of them to participate in our past three DrupalCamp held in Shanghai. Yet these three activities, still mainly for the domestic developers. Of course, I have to say, many people in our community that have done very well. I am very proud of them.

We can organize this type of activity to change foreign Drupalers perception of China Drupal community and markets. And to allow domestic developers new understanding of their Drupal career, and cultivate their passion. I think this is very meaningful.

我参加了去年2014年9月在天津进行的Dries见面活动，当时如果没记错的话加上Dries我们一共有10几个人。这里需要先感谢一下INsReady和CINT两个公司的赞助。虽然因为一些原因我们更改了活动地点，回想起来那天还是很开心的。我们喝了很多啤酒，并且有幸能够在国内和Drupal的作者近距离的接触和交谈。不过正如老葛所说的，这次活动的信息，包括Dries的行程，关心的人并不多(还有个重要的原因：那天是一个周三，大多数人都是公司请假去的，这对大多数人来说并不是一件方便的事情)。以至于活动规模小，时间短。也难怪Dries会有这样的想法。

我个人表达一下对目前国内Drupal社区的想法。1，现在哪怕是北京，上海，香港，深圳等这些都在中国的城市里的开发者平时的交流也并不频繁，没有一个集中，定期的活动。2，现在中国做Drupal的公司中，还没有一个真正拿得出手，并且被大家都认可的大公司来刺激这个行业。3，国外对中国的Drupal市场的关注度还不够高。他们有很多好的想法和经历过的失败可以学习借鉴。

所以我觉得类似的这样的活动是很有必要的。我会积极鼓励身边的朋友参加。我认为这将是一次很好的机会让更多的国外的Drupal 开发者知道中国，以及中国的Drupal社区。目前为止我们只邀请了他们中的少部分人来参加了我们过去三年举办的DrupalCamp Shanghai. 然而这三次活动的主要还是面向国内开发者的。当然我不得不说，我们中的很多人已经做得很好了，我非常为他们感到自豪。

我们可以通过类似的活动，改变一下国外对中国Drupal社区和市场的看法。以及让国内开发者对Drupal生涯的重新认识，并且培养他们的激情。这是非常有意义的。
