Join us Wednesday, Oct. 14 for the October user group at the offices of ThinkShout. The theme this month is Teaching and Learning Drupal.
Diane Douglas will share her experience teaching Drupal at Portland's Epicodus school. She'll talk about some of the initial difficulties for beginners and how to get past them, as well as topics that are covered in the Drupal curriculum at Epicodus and how they are structured to be suited to beginners.
Dan Linn will talk about his extensive Drupal mentoring experiences in a talk entitled "The Dreaded Drupal Learning Curve".
This month the meetup is at the ThinkShout offices at 433 NW 4th Ave, Suite 100. Get here at 6pm, and the talks begin around 6:30. JetBrains sponsors this meetup by raffling a free PHPStorm license.
