Hi,
here at 9thzero Solutions Inc., we've created a lean, extendible, mobile and SCORM compliant platform based on Drupal 7 called TinyLMS. Our focus is to provide a platform for corporate eLearning - as opposed to academic.
If you'd like to get involved with testing, improving (and may be even test-driving it) join us at the TinyLMS forum. I'm attaching a few screenshots ... if you're curious.
Cheers,
Mike

so is there code or just very enticing screenshots? I can appreciate the time it takes to make something like this and try to sell it to others but code based collaborations would be much more beneficial to both the community and your business then simply requesting demos in a forum.

Hi - I do appreciate your
Hi - I do appreciate your comment and ultimately the goal is to explore the possibility of releasing a version of TinyLMS to the community - where folks will be able to contribute. Prior to that however, I would like to have feedback from the community on what has been developed so far from a functionality and usability perspective - hence the invitation to take a look at the platform and provide feedback.
From what I've observed the Drupal community has been talking and talking about a Drupal-based LMS for a number of years now without much success really. I believe TinyLMS can change that (as in: it can give Moodle a run for its money) but in order for us to get there, the direction has to be well thought out and planned - and that starts by taking a look at what's there now from a functionality perspective, where would the community like to take it and move from there.
Releasing a bunch of code without any structure or direction is not optimal imho.
Cheers,
Mike
Not just talk...
I just wanted to point out that there are a number of Drupal-based LMSs in existence and many of us have been working on and sharing modules to support them for years.
I'd love to see another Drupal shop help improve and expand the existing core modules we are all working on.
For example, localization improvements, reporting are areas ripe for working together. New questions types for Quiz. New learning object modules for Course, etc.

Interesting, need more info...
So, it sounds like there are some good ideas here, but it is difficult to get much discussion going with just some screen captures. In looking at them, it is not easy to infer workflow and intent. If you are not in a position to release code, perhaps a demo/sandbox/snapshot site would be helpful?
FYI, you might consider providing some links. It was not easy to find your site, though that might have been intentional as it looks like you've got some additional setup work to do there. There is also an existing project (outside of the Drupal world) called TinyLMS which is much older than yours.
