Drupal 8 RC2 is out and it is a good time for us to get together to squash out the remaining blockers and start porting modules to Drupal 8.
What is a sprint?
These sprints are aimed at getting new contributors and concentrating on pair programming. We will split into pairs or groups and work on Drupal core / contrib issues.
Bring your laptop. There will be help for setting up local development environments. If possible, install git before coming and git clone Drupal 8 core. Please set up your environment before the meetup, you'll need a *AMP stack, irc client, and drush is nice. See https://drupal.org/dev-env for more tools.
