Hi and sorry for spamming everybody about this! I couldn't find better place to ask it from.
We came in Helsinki #Celebr8D8 planning with an idea that we could shoot videostream of our event. It would be more interesting if there would be many other streams out there too all grouped together with same hashtag or something?
That would also maybe allow someone to do a main #Celebr8D8 videostream looping other streams with proper software/equipment.
How does that idea sound to you? Which events would be possible to participate on videostreaming?

We in Florida were thinking something similar!
We were planning on using http://appear.in (or Periscope or something similar) to network together a number of parties. The limiting factors are time zones, and the fact that appear.in can only support up to 8 concurrent streams.
It'd be easy to set up - just requiring a computer with internet, plus a projector to project the video stream on a wall.
It'd be cool because it would really highlight the global Drupal community :)

That sound good. Lets stay then in contact! We could create a room there and then leave it to you after we're finishing (our parties might even be overlapping which is good), we already have at least two events sharing some live stream in Europe!

As we have two parties organized by Amazee Labs (Zurich and CapeTown), we're definitely also planning to do something like that.
But how about a GoogleHangout? This would allow us 15 Streams :)
We're going to host up to
We're going to host up to maximum of 150 persons and checking the venue this friday, so I'll be able to see if we can arrange good cam spot for this!
GoogleHangout might work too. I also heard that maybe UK and Munich might also join, so we might get even 5 streams in total already in Europe! That's nice!
For comms, I suggest to hook up in IRC channel #drupal-celebr8d8 when setting this up.
