At the last OxDUG meeting (3/Nov) it was proposed to have our own local Drupal 8 launch "gathering". This would probably be a celebratory drink (or so) in a pub.
I've started a thread as a response to the last MeetUp event (http://www.meetup.com/oxduguk/events/223344766/) and so far the only suggestion is a/any central Oxford pub (possibly close to St. Aldates).
So OxDUGers, what do you think?

there don't seem to be many people in Oxford with the requisite energy, excitement or organisation to celebrate the Drupal 8 release in any serious way, so I think I will stay in Manchester and join the NWDuggers:
