2016 Planning Session: Let’s get together to plan topics for the upcoming year. While we continue to work on a new Drupal 8 Camp site, let’s organize the upcoming meetups around topics to help us develop the site.
1) Meet & Greet
2) Announcements
3) Let’s get volunteers to fulfill project roles for the D8 NOLA Camp site build, such as project manager, designer, lead and jr. front end developer and lead and jr. back end developer, etc.
4) Let’s outline project milestones and discuss meet-up topics centered around gearing up for those milestones.

Mentoring at NOLA Camp
Even though it is a long time until the year "2106", I have been tasked by the core mentors to reach out to your local group to see if you can volunteer some people to help with mentoring activities. For example, the communications lead role is available, and that could be a key fit for a NOLA person.

Yeah, we could also really use someone local to help find a location for the Friday night mentor thank you dinner.
And at some past drupalcons, someone local has been able to help supply us with a monitor we use at the mentor booth table in the exhibit hall.
