Hello, Nebraska!

Hi everyone, just wanted to post a quick introduction. My name's Justin Ellison, and I live in Kearney (yes, we have computers here ;-)). I've been a Linux/Unix/Cisco sysadmin for close to 15 years, and have been developing shell, Perl, and PHP on and off for most of those years. I've ran my own blog for a few years now, initially on Wordpress, but quickly learned to hate it and setup Drupal instead. I had only used Drupal as a admin user for the last couple of years, but had an itch that needed scratched and wrote my first patch in fall of last year. Since then, I've become addicted to the Drupal API, and have been drinking from the firehose as fast as possible. Never before had I seen such maintainable PHP, and still haven't found any PHP framework as powerful as Drupal.

I'm now the co-maintainer responsible for the 3.x release of Node Gallery, and I'm the primary maintainer for Node Gallery Access, and I'm even doing a little freelancing.

With my sysadmin background, I'm really interested in Project Mercury, and I'm currently working on a Linode StackScript to get a Mercury instance up and running in minutes.

Is there anyone else involved with Drupal closer to Kearney? I will try to make it to the meetups, but it will be a bit tricky for me with $work. How many people usually attend, and what's the format?
