State of multilingual / translation in the Paragraphs module
Hi!
I know that some from the ZUG have worked on the Paragraphs module. I am considering it for a website which currently will have one language but in 2 years time will go multilingual. I would be interested to hear from someone a short presentation on the state of multilingual / translation in the Paragraphs module for both Drupal 7 and 8.
Thanks in advance to anyone that can present this!
Frederick
Short before release
While working on Translation Management, we have decided to make Paragraph a reference use case for multilingual workflows. This led us to become co-maintainer recently for Paragraphs Drupal 8.
We are currently short before completion of a critical cleanup of Paragraphs to build on top of the entity reference revisions composite relationship feature. Also there was some other nice progress recently with a blogpost published by Acquia:
https://dev.acquia.com/blog/drupal-8-module-of-the-week/drupal-8-module-...
So yes, next month DUG would be a good moment for a status summary.
Hi, we can definitely address
Hi,
we can definitely address this in the Q&A section on Thursday. We are using paragraphs & multilingual on pretty much all of our sites, will try and see if we can do a short presentation in April for example.
