Site Overhaul Case Study: San Juan Safaris

Number 10 Web Company recently worked with San Juan Safaris to relaunch their website on Drupal, implementing a new visual design with a component-driven design process, with extensive use of the Paragraphs module to improve the content authoring and editing experience. They also built a new e-commerce system using Drupal Commerce. Jared Stoneberg and Josh Kopel will present about the process that Number 10 went through to move from a flat HTML site that had grown over a decade to a Drupal solution with a new content architecture, look and feel, and e-commerce store.

Meeting NEXT Thursday

rlhawk's picture

Keep in mind that this month's SeaDUG meeting is not this Thursday (tomorrow), but next Thursday (March 24). Jared and Josh from Number 10 Web Company will be talking about component-driven design, using the Paragraphs module to improve the user experience for site editors, and building an e-commerce system in a recent site overhaul for San Juan Safaris. Also, Pantheon will be providing pizza and beverages. It will be informative and fun, so join us… NEXT Thursday.

Thanks Rick

Thanks for pointing out that the meeting has been moved by a week from the usual schedule. I hadn't taken note of that yet. You saved me an unnecessary trip to Seattle.

Meeting tonight!

Join us tonight for the March SeaDUG meeting. We'll be learning about component-driven design, using the Paragraphs module to improve the user experience for site editors, and building an e-commerce system.

We'll talk briefly about workflow and deployment strategies and the upcoming release of Drupal 8.1.

As if that's not enough, there will also be pizza and beer.

Any recording or teleconference?

Sorry if this is a duplicate, but I'm not sure it went the first time.

I'm very interested in attending, but won't be able to make the 4 hour trip over the mountains today. Is there any teleconference or recording of these sessions? I'm really interested in the Paragraphs presentation.

Thanks in advance,
Heidi

...there are a couple of recorded talks on paragraphs that are pretty good. But you'll miss out on everyone's company that way! ;)

Wait, Rick is in charge of pizza?
